Explained simply
Before a company introduces AI, an honest look at the starting point pays off. That is what the AI readiness check is for. You answer online questions on five areas:
- Strategy: Are there goals for using AI?
- Data: Can the information you need be found, and is it up to date?
- Team: Do managers and staff know what AI can and cannot do?
- Data protection: Is it clear which data may go into which tools?
- Use cases: Are there tasks where AI would make a real difference?
Picture a wholesaler in Vienna with 40 employees. The team already uses ChatGPT for emails, but there are no rules for it. The check makes gaps like this visible.
At the end you receive a report with your readiness level and the most important areas for action.
The readiness level shows how far your company has come. The areas for action show what comes next. The questions are meant for managing directors and managers.
What does this mean for your business?
You invest first where the gap is largest. That might be training, a better data foundation or a first pilot. A pilot is a small test run with real data. You need no technical knowledge for the check.
